MFC ENDS ITS SUMMER SEASON WITH GREAT SUCCESS AMIDST GOLDEN BALLS, TOP TEAMS AND EXCITING GAMES
With the arrival of August, MFC closes its second great season of the year after the winter season. During the months of June and July, the different MFC centres have had the opportunity to welcome teams and players of the highest level.
The Spanish senior women’s national team, which is currently playing the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, began its preparatory journey at Meliá Villaitana Football Center during the month of June with the winner of the Golden Ball the last two years Alexia Putellas as a great reference and leader.
In July, we had the opportunity to welcome Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr at Pine Cliffs Resort Football Center Algarve, MFC’s first centre abroad. On Portuguese soil, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and his teammates enjoyed an exceptional training camp with 4 preparatory matches that helped them to reach their best form.
Alongside these two teams, MFC had the opportunity to host teams such as Bournemouth, Stoke City, Chelsea U-18, Plymouth, Reading, Wimbledon from the English Premier League. Heart of Midlothian and Hibernian FC from the Scottish league. Maccabi Tel Aviv from the Israeli league, Orlando Pirates from the South African league or Independiente del Valle from the Ecuadorian league.
Teams from the Middle East such as Qatar Sports Club, Al Wakrah or Al-Ain FC also developed their particular pre-seasons in our centres.
From the Spanish league, we were proud to help teams such as Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, RCD Espanyol, Cádiz CF, UD Almería, Deportivo Alavés and Albacete Balompié in their preparations.
All these teams, as well as laying the physical and technical foundations for the coming season, had the opportunity to play friendly matches at a high level with the attendance of fans and supporters of these teams.
Thanks to the success of this summer pre-season, MFC reinforces its leading position at European and world level as one of the elite centres in the world of professional football for the preparation of pre-seasons and training camps for top level commitments thanks to its privacy, exclusivity, professionalism, top level facilities and turf in excellent condition.
