MARBELLA WEEK OF FRIENDLY MATCHES FOR WOMEN’s NTs BEGINS
This Thursday 16th February marks the start of a week full of international matches that will put MFC at the epicentre of women’s football.
Senior national teams of the calibre of Germany, Sweden, China, Switzerland, Ireland and Poland will play a series of friendly matches over the next 7 days of great media and footballing interest.
And the reason for this is none other than the World Cup that will be held next summer in New Zealand and Australia with the participation of the aforementioned teams with the exception of Poland.
Most of the matches will be played at the Marbella Football Centre. Two of them will be played at the Estadio Nuevo Mirador de Algeciras and will be played behind closed doors.
In addition to the organisation of senior national team matches, MFC will also offer the possibility to enjoy an interesting match at national team level in the women’s U-23 category which will pit two very strong teams such as Sweden and the Netherlands against each other.
