THE SENIOR WOMEN’S NATIONAL TEAMS OF SWEDEN, IRELAND, POLAND AND SWITZERLAND START THEIR TRAINING CAMPS IN MFC

MFC will become the centre of attention for women’s football in Europe for a few days with the arrival today of the senior national teams of Sweden, Ireland, Poland and Switzerland. All of them, except Poland, are qualified for the World Cup to be held this year in New Zealand and Australia.

After the arrival last Saturday of the China senior national team and with the arrival of Germany tomorrow, there are now 5 teams that will be concentrating from today at our facilities with their minds set on preparing for such an exceptional event.

The Sweden senior national team will be concentrating between the 13th and the 19th of February at Marbella Football Center.

The Switzerland senior national team will do so between the 13th and the 22nd of February at Estepona Football Center.

The Ireland senior national team will be training between the 13th and the 23rd of February at Banús Football Center.

Finally, the Polonio senior national team will carry out its training camp between 13 and 22 February at La Quinta Football Center.

Along with the senior national teams, MFC will also receive the visit of the Dutch U-23 women’s national team who will be training at La Cala Football Center between the 13th and the 17th and the Swedish U-23 women’s national team who will be training between 13 and 17 February at Banús Football Center.

The confirmed matches of the above mentioned teams are as follows:

Sweden U-23 vs Netherlands U-23
16 February – 14:00 – Banús Football Center

Sweden vs China
16 February – 18.30 h – Marbella Football Center

Poland vs Switzerland
17 February – 3:30pm – Nuevo Mirador Stadium

Switzerland vs Poland
21 February – 4pm – Marbella Football Center

Republic of Ireland vs China
22 February – 2pm – Marbella Football Center

All matches are open except for the matches to be played at the Estadio Nuevo Mirador which will be played behind closed doors.

MFC is very grateful to all the women’s national football federations who have trusted us in their race to prepare for such an important event as the World Cup in New Zealand and Australia to be held in the summer of 2023.
