The best football player ever also passed through Marbella Football Center

Yesterday we were all surprised by the death of Maradona, a tragic news that has convulsed the world of football. Despite the sadness of the news, at MFC we prefer to think that D10s have already reached heaven, where he rests.

The Argentine star, who was the manager of his beloved Argentina in 2008, visited us this year, playing a match. The mere presence of the “fluff” was a real event wherever he went, and his time at Marbella Football Center was no less so.

At our facilities, for many years anyone can see a bust of the star from Lanús, along with other of the greats of world football.

As a player, Diego made his debut very early in Argentinos Juniors, from where he went to Boca Juniors and quickly to FC Barcelona. After a year at Barça, he would end up signing for Napoli SS, a club where he gave the best of his career.

With unparalleled technical quality and an indomitable temperament, Maradona became the best player in history, making Napoli the Serie A champion and Argentina the world champion. And it is because Maradona was not only a great player, he was a leader without equal, with a huge personality and hierarchy.
