On the morning of Wednesday 21 February, the press conference was held to present the Marbella Week of Football for Women’s National Teams and U-23. The event, which was attended by the Councillor for Sports of the Marbella Town Hall, Mr. Lisando Vieytes, and the CEO of Marbella Football Center, Mr. Andrés Roldán, brought together the vast majority of the national teams participating in this event.

The two events will take place between the 22nd and 28th of February at the main MFC fields in the city of Marbella (Marbella Football Center and Banús Football Center). Most of the matches will be open to the public and no physical ticket will be required to attend them.

The Marbella Week of Football for Absolute National Teams will count with the participation of England, Italy, Austria, Poland, Denmark and Switzerland.

On the same dates, the Marbella Week of Football for Under-23 National Teams will be played with a top level line-up: Spain, England, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden.

In the words of Mr. Lisandro Vieytes,

“The combination of sport and tourism has always worked very well in the city of Marbella. For his part, Andrés Roldán, CEO of MFC, said,

Tuesday 27th February
Switzerland vs Poland – 17:00 h – Marbella Football Center
England vs Italy – 18:00 h – Nuevo Mirador Stadium (Algeciras)

Wednesday 28th February
Austria vs Denmark- 16:30 h – Marbella Football Center
