MFC SPORTS LAB IS BORN DIRECTED BY THE PRESTIGIOUS DOCTOR IN SPORTS BIOMECHANICS DOMENICO GURZÍ
MFC Sports Lab, a project created by MFC and directed by the prestigious Doctor in Sports Biomechanics Domenico Gurzí, will be launched on January 1st with the aim of becoming a reference and cutting-edge centre in the field of high-tech sports performance analysis applied to football players and elite athletes.
MFC Sports Lab, located in the main gym of Marbella Football Center, will make available to all players and teams who are carrying out their training camps at Marbella Football Center as well as to those professional footballers and athletes outside our main activity and who require its services, a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment that will include the following services:
Static and Dynamic 3D/4D studies and anaylisis of the body, foot and spine.
3D/4D skill track analysis.
Analysis of body, sight, speed, skill, reaction and brain performance.
Body analysis and vikomotorik with virtual reality and gamification.
3D/4D Sports analysis.
Analysis of sports specifications and equipment.
Development of specific shoe elements and insole analytics.
MFC Sports Lab will include Football Pro Analytics for football players and athletes which includes examination procedures and tests that provide information on the current state of health, resilience and performance level of an athlete. This study plays an essential role in adapting training planning on an individual level and offers personalised and unique solutions.
Domenico Gurzí is one of the most renowned professionals in the static and dynamic study of the body, foot and spine elements whose study, condition and monitoring is essential for the prevention and care of the most common joint and muscle injuries in football players and elite athletes.
Dr. in Sport and Motor Sciences and Master in Sport and Movement Biomechanics from the Università Magna Graecia di Catanzaro, Domenico has a 25-year career in which he has worked for some of the most important football clubs in Europe, as well as for some of the main football stars in the world.
