MFC organises 60 club and national team stages in February

This February the organisation will manage more than 50 training camps for professional clubs and national teams. The training camps involve the organisation of a multitude of matches with around 120 matches organised by MFC in the first 3 months of the year.

Each club travels with between 40-50 people per club, with the impact that this means for the hotels in the area. In this month alone, an estimated 2,385 professional athletes and coaches have arrived at our destination.

The training camps usually last between 7-10 days per club, although it is true that Russian clubs often hold training camps for more than a month. Each club plays an average of two matches in those 7-10 days of training camp.

In addition to the large number of teams, these training camps involve the arrival of numerous scouts who, taking advantage of the level of matches and the volume, come to view players from other clubs around the world.

This month of February stands out for the arrival of clubs and women’s national teams that increasingly require a first class preparation.

Without a doubt, Marbella and the Costa del Sol is the world reference for pre-season training camps for professional clubs and national teams. It should be added that the destinations of Sotogrande and Benidorm also receive clubs, where the organisation also has facilities.

The clubs find in our destination; the best climate in Europe, elite facilities, first class matches, personalised service 24 hours a day.

For the destination it means an enormous impact, due to the type of tourism that it attracts, which arrives in the low season of sun and beach. A sports tourism that seems to have partly recovered after this period of pandemic.
