MFC BASE CAMP FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE WOMEN’S WORLD CUP 2023
The final phase of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 to be played in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July to 20 August this year is just around the corner.
And Marbella Football Center has once again been chosen as an international reference centre for the preparation of world elite tournaments.
A good number of women’s national teams already qualified for the event and with a great chance of winning the title have entrusted MFC as their centre of operations to start building their path to glory.
Teams of the calibre of Germany, China, Sweden, Switzerland and Ireland will be visiting our facilities in the coming days and will play friendly matches in preparation for such an important event.
The concentration schedule for these teams will be as follows:
China from the 11th to the 25th of February at Marbella Football Center.
Sweden from the 13th to the 19th of February at Marbella Football Center.
Ireland from 13th to 23rd February at Banús Football Center.
Switzerland from 13 to 22 February at Estepona Football Center.
Germany from the 14th to the 19th of February in Marbella Football Center.
Poland from 13 to 22 February at La Quinta Football Center.
All of them will play friendly matches that will be communicated through our Social Media channels.
In addition to these national teams, the Sweden and Netherlands U-23 teams will also visit MFC.
The dates are as follows:
Sweden U-23 team from 13 to 17 February at Banús Football Center.
Netherlands U-23 from 13 to 17 February at La Cala Football Center.
