LaLiga Smartbank faces its final phase

LaLiga Smartbank begins matchday 35 today, the first of the last 8 before determining its final result. We don’t know which teams will promote and which teams will be relegated, what we do know is that the current equality means that almost all teams are involved in something.

More than half of the teams that join this competition are friends of Football Impact. The favorites to promotion are RCD Espanyol, RCD Mallorca and UD Almería (especially the first 2), the 3 friends of Football Impact. Jus this matchday, the teams from Barcelona and Andalusian face each other. A victory for the Catalans would put them 13 points away from the playoff zone, which would almost guarantee them promotion.

A little further down we find the group that is fighting for the playoff (Leganés, Sporting, Rayo, Girona, Ponferradina and Málaga).

In the middle of the table we see Mirandés, Las Palmas, Tenerife, Fuenlabrada and Real Zaragoza. A very good or very bad run of results could lift them to the top of the ranking or complicate the end of the season.

With 40 points or less are the last classified, at risk of decline: Oviedo, Logroñés, Lugo Castellón, Cartagena, Alcorcón, Sabadell and Albacete.
