La Nucia Football Center, a project that is about to get underway

MFC is moving forward with the project of a new professional football centre in La Nucía, Alicante.

Work continues to progress at a good pace. One of the main fields is already seeded. The second main pitch will be ready in January 2023.

In addition to the current main centres (Marbella Football Center, Banús Football Center, La Quinta Football Center, Estepona Football Center, Meliá Villaitana Football Center and Atalaya Football Center), this new and important centre will have two 11-a-side football pitches, two 7-a-side football pitches and a high performance gymnasium for football players, as well as changing rooms, storage, reception and others.

The new MFC centre is located in the Camilo Cano sports complex in La Nucia. A project with the collaboration of the City Council of La Nucía that has trusted in our activity.

Until now, La Nucía has hosted some teams and matches managed by the MFC that have used the Camilo Cano municipal stadium in La Nucía. With this new football centre, the town will become a major destination for the pre-seasons of European elite teams, both in winter and summer.

La Nucía Football Center is part of the growth of the MFC Group’s activity, with the aim of improving the offer of high level destinations for professional clubs.

This project means a great diffusion for the destination, generation of indirect tourism, deseasonalisation (many teams come during the low hotel season) and a new way of business for the municipality.

La Nucía Football Center is already expecting the arrival of high-level teams in the coming weeks.
