Great work of Shevchenko in the Ukraine national team

Andriy Shevchenko, one of the best strikers in world football during the 1990s and 2000s, stands out as his country’s national manager.

The former Ukrainian footballer has visited the Football Impact and Marbella Football Center facilities as a coach and also as a player. In fact, he keeps very good memories of his time on the Costa del Sol.

During one of his stays, the Football Impact team did an interview with this legendary former player, in which he told us the following:

1.- What about your experience at the Marbella Football Center?

Marbella Football Center is a great place. Here we have all the conditions for a good training session, two large fields and also mini pitches. Good weather is very important. In winter as in spring here there is always a good climate and fresh air.

2.- According to football facilities, what do you think of our natural grass?

We are very satisfied with the facilities and the natural grass, which is why we chose Marbella Football Center. The fields are very well kept.

3.- How did you find out about Marbella Football Center?

It is not the first time that I am here, I have been many, many times: as a player at Dinamo Kiev and Milan, I was here just to watch the games of the different clubs and teams. Dinamo Kiev and other Ukrainian teams are here often.

Andriy currently leads the Ukrainian team (friend federation of Football Impact) in the Nations League, where they got the same points that Germany and only one less than Spain (two other federation friends of Football Impact).
