Diego Martínez, a first level manager who bets on MFC

Diego Martínez, another manager who trusts the work of Marbella Football Center. Of Galician origin, Martínez is closely linked to Andalusian football. He started at Sevilla Atlético, later coaching CA Osasuna and currently Granada CF.

The “Shaman” knows MFC perfectly, since he has visited us on several occasions, both with Sevilla Atlético and with Granada CF, with whom he prepared the most important season in the history of the Nasrid team.

After a brief career as a player, Diego Martínez retired very young, clearly focusing his career on the more technical side. After his training period, he will soon catch the attention of scout “Monchi”, who will recruit him for Sevilla FC.

In 2014 he starts as coach of Sevilla Atlético, whom he will manage to lead to the second division. This good work led him to CA Osasuna, a team in which he stayed for a year.

The following year he will go to Granada CF, to which he will get promoted. During the 3 years he has led to a Copa del Rey semifinal in the best season in its history. In 2021 he leads the team from Granada to play the quarterfinals of the Europa League against Manchester United.
