DENMARK IS PROCLAIMED CHAMPION OF THE MARBELLA U18 INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT
After an exciting tournament where the level of football shown by all the national teams was outstanding, the national team of Denmark has been proclaimed champion of the tournament in an incontestable way.
Denmark won all three matches and showed great character throughout the tournament. Very solid in all their lines, hard-working and with a clear game plan, their time at MFC left its mark. Some of the players who stood out especially were their starting goalkeeper, Aske Andrésen, centre midfielder Julius Beck and winger Noah Donovan.
MFC would like to thank all the national teams for their participation and commitment to the tournament as well as the Norwegian Football Federation and Escape Travel for their support and help in organising a tournament that has been an absolute success in terms of organisation and attendance.
The results of the tournament, which show that there was maximum equality during the three days and all the matches were marked by great intensity and emotion, were as follows:
