CSKA, Spartak and Zenit struggle for the Russian Premier League

The Russian Premier League, with the majority of participants friends of Football Impact, is approaching the halfway point of the championship with 3 of the greats fighting for the title.

After 13 matches played out of a total of 30, CSKA Moscow, Zenit Saint Petersburg and Spartak Moscow are in first, second and third position, with 28, 27 and 27 points. There are only 2 rounds left to complete the first leg and only 1 point separates the first from the third.

After the leading trio, many teams are fighting for access to the Europa League. Dynamo Moscow is fourth, tied with Rostov at 23 points. Less than 3 points from the European places we find up to 4 teams in addition to Rostov: Sochi (22), Lokomotiv (21), Rubin Kazan (21) and Akhmat Grozny (20).

In direct relegation places we find Volgograd and UFA, and Khimki and Arsenal Tula in relegation playoff spots. Above them, trying to avoid the descent we find Tambov, Ural and Krasnodar.
