BIG DAYS AT MFC WITH THE ARRIVAL OF CRYSTAL PALACE AND THE SENIOR MEN’S NATIONAL TEAMS OF UKRAINE, NORWAY AND SWEDEN
The winter season is progressing at Marbella Football Center and the level of the teams arriving at our different facilities continues to be of the highest level. Over the next few days, our different centres will welcome some of the best teams on the European scene.
From England comes one of the most in-form teams in the Premier League, Crystal Palace. Oliver Glasner’s players are on the back of an impressive run of victories in recent matches. We hope that their training camp this year, like last season, will help them to finish the last third of the season in a spectacular way. They will be in our facilities from the 10th to the 14th of March.
The Ukrainian National Team will stay at Melia Villaitana from the 12th to the 19th in order to prepare for their two play-off matches for the access to the Nations League group A. On the 20th they will face Belgium in Murcia while the return match will be on the 23rd on Belgian territory.
The Norwegian National Team will concentrate from the 16th to the 21st at Marbella Football Center to prepare their two qualification matches for the 2026 World Cup. On the 22nd they will face Moldova and on the 25th Israel, both away.
And from the 17th till the 21st of March the Swedish National Team will hold their training camp at La Quinta Football Center to prepare for their two friendly matches. On the 22nd of March against Luxembourg as visitors and on the 25th they will play at home against Northern Ireland as home team.
The quality of these teams confirms Marbella Football Center’s leading position and reference when it comes to holding training camps and pre-seasons for the elite teams of world football.
