Football Impact incorporates the renowned gardener Benito Mateo, one of the world’s best specialists in grass.

Benito Mateo has worked for clubs such as Malaga, Valencia, Inter Milan, RCD Mallorca and Hebei China Fortune in the Chinese Super League.

Hector Cúper was one of his discoverers, who took him to the football elite with RCD Mallorca and later to Inter Milan where he was head of gardening for both teams.

He became known at international level in a qualifying match for the Euro 2008 that the Spanish team played against Iceland (with a 1-0 victory) in Son Moix on a night when the match was played under a flood and the pitch did not suffer.

On the Costa del Sol (2010) he was the galactic outfielder for the Malaga Champions League, with a dream season in which the grass was another of the Malaga club’s successes. After his time at La Rosaleda, the specialist arrived at another champions’ team, Valencia CF.
