Norway battles for the leadership of group G 2022 World Cup

The Norwegian national team is two points off the lead in Group G, which is valid for qualyfing for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Only the Netherlands are ahead of the Scandinavian team.

The team coached by Solbakken is performing very well, having lost only one of their eight matches. In the last match window, the Norwegians drew against direct rivals Turkey and beat Montenegro.

Norway recently had a training camp in Marbella Football Center, when they played against Gibraltar and then against Turkey in La Rosaleda, Montenegro and Turkey were also in training with MFC when they came to play against Gibraltar.

On 13th November, the team will face Latvia, but the most important match will be on 16th November against the Netherlands. It is the most important match of this phase and could mean the leadership of the group.
