A year ago, the Spanish U-21 team visited the facilities of the Marbella Football Center. 9 days stage for Luis de la Fuente’s men on the Costa del Sol.
During the Spanish team’s stay in MFC, this impressive generation played two friendly matches. Austria and Romania were the rivals and Algeciras and Granada the venues.
Only 3 months after visiting us, this team was proclaimed champion of Europe in Udine (Italy).
This team will be the base of the sub-24 team (age has been delayed one year by COVID-19) that will participate in the Tokyo Olympics. It is a team full of great players already established in the first division such as:
Jesús Vallejo (Granada CF).
Marc Roca (RCD Espanyol).
Carlos Soler (Valencia CF).
Mikel Merino (Real Sociedad CF).
Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad CF).
Dani Olmo (RB Leipzig).
Pablo Fornals (West Ham United).
Carlos Aleñá (Real Betis).
Sergio Reguilón (Sevilla FC).
These and many other equally talented players will represent us in the next Olympics, trying to get gold for Spain.
