Juan Mata, our most supportive friend

Our friend Juan Mata, a player from Manchester United and the Spanish national team, who recently visited Marbella Football Center, dedicated to the NGO Common Goal.

“In both football and Common Goal you can’t do anything by yourself, you need your team to win.”

With this motto, the footballer form Oviedo and the NGO Common Goal seek to grow charity in the world of football. The former Real Madrid, Valencia and Chelsea player is trying to get other footballers to join the cause.

The goal is for players to contribute 1% of their salary to invest in development football. This football that does not serve to fill stadiums or organize massive events, but that greatly helps the correct evolution of many children, especially those in more vulnerable positions. A football that fosters the values of sportsmanship, community, cooperation, respect.

As Juan Mata comments, there are more ways to collaborate for those who cannot do it economically. Volunteer work can be provided and you can also help to know the cause by sharing it on social networks.

Some of the footballers and technicians that participate in this cause are: Jurgen Klopp, Megan Rapinoe, Serge Gnabry, Chiellini or Vero Boquete,
At FI and MFC we stand in solidarity with the cause and encourage you to share the video to publicize this important work. If you want, you can also visit the Common Goal website and get more information.
